The Met Office has issued a yellow warning as Storm Miguel continues to batter Britain.
A “severe” yellow warning is in place across southern parts of the UK today as forecasters warn thunderstorms and heavy rain could cause some roads and homes to be flooded.
London, Cardiff, Bath, Oxford and Portsmouth are expected to be hit by the heaviest downpours.

Southern areas and parts of South Wales could see 20mm of rain fall in just one hour.
Forecasters have warned that homes and businesses could be flooded and the unsettled weather could also delay bus and train services.
According to the Met Office, rain will push northwards through the day on Friday and will affect most areas after midday.
It’s been said that thundery showers could follow the rain.
